WingWords is made by a private pilot and aerospace engineer who founded an online language school.
Why it exists
The ICAO test asks for English that a general course does not teach: describing what you see, saying what went wrong, asking again when you did not understand. WingWords practises exactly that, a few minutes at a time.
What it holds to
- Real materialReal photographs and real radio language, not stock pictures and textbook dialogue.
- Short and often4 questions a lesson, because a few minutes every day beats a weekend of cramming.
- Your words stay yoursNo adverts. What you write stays on your phone unless you choose to have it marked.
- Aviation English, not aviationIt checks whether you understood the words, not whether you know a technical format.
